To give an update:
We have not yet sold out. However, it's close and I expect it to happen soon.
Although I received over 100 reservations within the first hour, therefore many people are getting through, it appears that some people are having difficulty sending in their requests. This appears to be a technical problem, and one that's out of my hands. I have asked our IT department to look into this.
I have not started to process the reservations, as I want to give the people working on this problem a little time to sort it out. I am hopeful we can start sending out confirmations before the end of the week.

How can I find out if I actually got a table? I sent my application in at 8:02pm and am not sure how I would find out?

Hey Chris, I have sent you a PM with details that may be helpful for your IT guy to sort out this issue. If there is an alternative address to which we can send applications, that would be much appreciated. There are a bunch of us left in the lurch.

Yeah my boyfriend Decade has been trying and trying with no avail, the messages and the application all bounced when sending it to the email address you guys provided, and we sent out application at 8 last night right when the nomi applications went live so we're starting to worry. Is there anyway you could private message those of us who say we are having this error and have us provide our email addresses so you can let us know if it did actualy get received and the email saying it bounced is just spam?

actually an alternate email would be great that or sending a verification email to all the people whose emails were recieved just in case they did actually go through or not.

Again, ONLY do this if you have received an Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender message; And then, only send me a copy of that message with all the header information.

To help us please do the following if, and ONLY if, you received an Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender message: 1) Follow these instructions to find the header information support.google.com/mail/answer/22454?hl=en2) Copy the ENTIRE message 3) Paste it in a private message to me on this forum. Again, ONLY do this if you have received an Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender message; And then, only send me a copy of that message with all the header information. Should I copy/paste for each email I sent or just one? For those using Icloud, open the message and in the settings of the new window, there is a buttons that say "Show Long Headers". Hope that helps a couple people.

Here is the current situation:
I have received about 10 sellers "Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender" messages. They will receive priority based on the time when they first sent their request in.
After a brief message from the IT department it appears that our mail server has been under a DNS based DOS (Denial of Service) attack, preventing the mail filters from working properly, and hence rejecting legitimate messages. This attack only denies service, and the server itself has not been compromised.
All necessary steps are being taken to correct this problem and to update the mail filters. However, this may take a few more days to sort out, so if you get another "Undelivered Mail" please follow the instructions above to PM me here with all the headers.
I have also started to send out the "You have a table letters" I'm about 1/4 of the way done, and I hope to finish by this weekend. If you haven't received a response yet, then just wait. If you haven't heard anything by next week, then let me know here.

Im a little nervous, BC I didnt have access to a computer on the 12th, so I sent in my request Just after 1pm on the 13th... I guess if I didn't get a confirmation table number email or a rejection/not sent email, then I'm one of the hundreds left in limbo...?
I've got two other people trying to get a table as well and I'm a little anxious bc this is my first time trying (I've always thought about it but never had the time bc of panels and photoshoots)
I wish there was a way to know the emails did go through and are just waiting to be filed...

Correct.
My outgoing email is not affected by this DOS Attack, so I will send everyone an email, even if they did not get a table.
Please try understand that this process takes time. It always takes about seven days to send out all the letters, and this year I have had to wait an extra few days before starting to sort out this technical problem.
All Anime North staff members, including myself, have full time careers and full time lives to deal with every day. Therefore we must meet those obligations first, before we can deal with any Anime North business.
So unless you have received an "Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender message" (if you did please follow the steps above), and you filled in the subject line correctly, then your request is still waiting. You should get a letter by the end of the week (Sunday, April 19th)

Hi, just a quick question. I had sent my request almost exactly at 8:00 and received an "undelivered mail returned to sender message" about three hours later and resent the email. After that I didn't get the message again. Should I assume that you received it or should I send it via the steps above to be sure?
