Hello all,
According to weather network, there is a chance of a shower, which is ranged from 1~3mm on Saturday (May 26th) and a few showers on Sunday (May 27th), which is ranged from 10-15mm.
For Friday, it is expected to be mainly sunny and the highest temperature is expected be 25 degrees Celsius.
For Saturday, the highest temperature is expected to be 20 degrees and the lowest may be 12 degrees. I would recommend for people to properly prepare just in case the cold weather comes in.
For Sunday, the highest temperature may be 22 degrees and the lowest may be 11.
The forecast may change since the con is still a week away. I would recommend to check the forecast for both Toronto and Etobicoke area before the con and each day, and prepare anything necessary just in case the rain comes.

The current update has been made and it's worse... (*sigh)
A risk of thunderstorm is expected on Sunday.
There might be a risk that some photoshoots may be canceled.
I'll have to see the weather on Thursday again to see how it goes.
Let us hope for a better weather for all the attendees of AN.

AccuWeather gives a different forecast with warmer temperatures and even more chances of rain expected, so I don't know what to believe.
Here's what they say:
Thursday Day: Plenty of sunshine, 25, feels like 27, 0% chance of rain, max UV index 9, 13 kph west wind with 18 kph gusts Night: Mainly clear, 15, feels like 14, 0% chance of rain, 11 kph west wind with 17 kph gusts
Friday Day: Sun and areas of high clouds, then mostly cloudy, 27, feels like 27, 1% chance of rain, 20% chance of thunderstorms, max UV index 5, 15 kph northwest wind with 20 kph gusts Night: Considerable clouds, a passing shower in the evening, then a little rain, 15, feels like 13, 58% chance of rain, 2mm of rain over 1 1/2 hours, 11 kph northeast winds with 20 kph gusts
Saturday Day: Mainly cloudy, chance of a shower or thunderstorm, 24, feels like 24, 30% chance of rain, 60% chance of thunderstorms, max UV index 4, 18 kph south wind with 32 kph gusts Night: A shower in the area in the evening, low clouds, 16, feels like 16, 42% chance of rain, 29% chance of thunderstorms, 13 kph southwest winds with 32 kph gusts
Sunday Day: Sunshine and patchy clouds, 24, feels like 26, 25% chance of rain, 14% chance of thunderstorms, max UV index 10, 17 kph southwest wind with 20 kph gusts Night: Rather cloudy, 14, feels like 13, 19% chance of rain, 8% chance of thunderstorms, 13 kph northwest winds with 20 kph gusts
Either way, not liking how the forecast is looking and I'm praying as hard as I can for it to improve...

Certainly a system appearing to hang around that weekend... hopefully it gets pushed back or goes away.... Is there anything we can do about being rained out? I can't remember if we were allowed to move them indoors to certain areas (to not block traffic since everyone will be inside) or if we just have to cancel and go do something else. It's been a few years since this has been an issue XD

Tiny shoots could likely find shelter but big ones (Overwatch) are SOL.

Maybe we should try to be positive about this--several ANs in a row that I've been to have had forecasts calling for rain ruining everything and then nothing happens, so hopefully nothing happens this year too ;w;/

Last year on Saturday, there has been a small rain around 1PM but it was pretty minor. After that, there were no rain. I don't remember the forecast for Sunday (I think they said a few rain), but it was completely sunny. That means, there might still be chances for (most of) us.

Yeah it rained from like 12:40-12:50.... wasn't heavy rain either, which was good! Stopped raining in time for the FF shoot.

And how would that message be relayed? This is my first time running a photoshoot and I'm really hoping I won't have to call it because of rain ;-;

Like Direkitty said, they're assumed cancelled, but last year the Voltron Saturday shoot just moved to the back of the Delta hotel near the back entrance where there was a cover Also I'm hoping that the rain is only for a short bit. I think two years ago it was supposed to rain all weekend, but it rained for like 5 minutes really hard at 2pm friday then it was a heatwave (which isn't desirable)

I think two years ago it was supposed to rain all weekend, but it rained for like 5 minutes really hard at 2pm friday then it was a heatwave (which isn't desirable) One key thing to look for in the forecast is how much rain is expected vs total hours. For example, AccuWeather predicts about 2mm of rain over 1 1/2 hours on Friday night. That's not very much rain at all, and that hour and a half could be broken up over the space of the whole night and bring us on-and-off spitting rain, or it could be a solid hour and a half of very light rain.
