hey there,
i have applied for a table. My yahoo account was not getting any confirmation emails. I tried twice over the course of 3 hours.
I then tried my GMAIL account and got it right away!/ I know last year you guys did not receive emails from Yahoo for some reason as easily. Maybe this issue is reoccurring? thought id let you know.

I was one of the ones that didn't get a table last year because my Yahoo account didn't get through. I used the same address and I did get all confirmation emails. Hope everything goes fine this year.

Hi Chris, Can additional sellers be added or removed after application deadline? Or after receiving table confirmation? I would also like to know the answer to this.

Only the primary applicant gets the confirmation emails, right?

Here are some answers and an update. 1) We went over the errors people have reported and most of them seem to already have been resolved. We would ask that if you've had problems please try the process again today, and if it's still not working for you, please email nomi@animenorth.com from the same address you are using to apply and we'll look into it. 2) SO far we have received enough applications for 173.5 Tables. As we only have 165 tables to give away, your odds of getting in right now are about %93.9 As more people sign up this will change, but I think the majority of people have already joined us. I would say this system seems to be (mostly) working. 3) Should someone apply for a table, but they are NOT selected in the lottery, then there will be an opportunity to add them to the table of those who ARE selected as a second (or third) seller. This is the same as we've done in the past, and there will be another deadline to make any final changes. 4) If you are one of the 70 tables that have requested to be "next to" another seller please read this carefully. It appears that at least 16 email address on the "next to" request lines are unlinked. What I mean is: when Table A requests to be next to table B, table B must also request to be next to table A. When this is done correctly we say they are linked. When this is not, then they are unlinked. This could be caused by a number of things: - The person you have requested to be next to has not made their account yet, please contact them to confirm if they have done so. (and remind them to complete this before the deadline, Monday!)
- You may have used the wrong address in your next to request. Please contact your friends and insure you are using the correct email address that they used to create their account.
- The person you have requested to be next to has not included your email address you used to create your account as their next to request, please contact them to insure they haven't made a mistake.
Should you have to make any changes please log back into the table application site and edit your application.

Confirmation emails are not being received - or delayed for hours - at multiple ISPs due to SENDER VERIFY failing.
The confirmation emails purport to be from <nomi@mikemike.net> ... here is an example of one of the ISP log files:
Event: rejected rejected User: -remote- Domain: From Address: nomi@mikemike.net Sender: Sent Time: Apr 6, 2019, 7:04:19 PM Sender Host: sg2nlsmtp01.shr.prod.sin2.secureserver.net Sender IP: 182.50.132.200 Authentication: unauthorized Spam Score: 0 Delivered To: Router: reject Transport: **rejected** Out Time: Apr 6, 2019, 7:04:19 PM ID: 1hCuMd-0008rW-PI Delivery Host: sg2nlsmtp01.shr.prod.sin2.secureserver.net Delivery IP: 182.50.132.200 Size: 0 bytes Result: Sender verify failed

Firstly, please allow me to apologise for any annoyance caused by any registration issues (I think you have had a few if your account name on here is related) I'm one of the developers of the new site and have been monitoring it over the last day (minus the annoying time difference caused by living in Japan) and this is most definitely a new development as we have had over a hundred successful registrations from gmail accounts and around 80 from hotmail/outlook and many from other email providers. There were to our knowledge only a handful of examples of emails failing to be received. You seem to know your computing so, getting technical, we have made sure the correct SPF records have been set for our domain so gmail, outlook etc should be able to verify the authenticity of the email coming from the domain. I know this works as I have tested it on a gmail account and outlook account myself and I continue to run a registration test every hour on these and emails are being received and properly identified as coming from us. Getting sent to spam was an issue with outlook but we have made it clear that people need to check their spam folders. As we are using shared hosting this year, It is possible that changes to the server by the hosting company itself or a spike in registrations could have caused issues with the local smtp relay. We will continue to investigate this. We can't predict how every mail server is going to handle our emails but for gmail, outlook/hotmail, and yahoo they were being received correctly. Finally, for anyone else reading this who has problems registering, please contact Chris privately with the account email you used to register and we will activate your account from our side. Kind Regards Mike.

Hi Chris,
I am unsure if this has been answered elsewhere and I just missed it but I was wondering when we would hear about the results of the lottery?
I haven't purchased my AN tickets yet and was planning on grabbing them if I got a table. The last day to order and have the option to mail them to me is Apr 18 and I was just wondering if we would hear back if we got a table before then.
Thank you
