Hi this is my 1st time selling at nomi! I read the rules and saw "You can only sell things that are on top of the table" I have a lot of clothing items like Lolita dresses and petticoats <- 2 of these and BAM table full. Would it be possible to bring something to hang these for display instead?

There are a few options.
1) You can store the clothing under and behind the table while displaying an array of photographs of the items on your table. If anyone is interested you can bring out items and show them one by one.
2) In addition to the option above you can also bring a small clothing rack (if you have one) and keep it behind the tables. As long as it's not in the way of the other sellers you can offer stuff from the rack.
3) As another option, you could even give up the table itself (we'd remove it, leaving a new gap in the aisle) and you could bring in a 6 foot long clothing rack (again, if you have one) to take the place of the table. The price would be the same ($50), and you wouldn't have a tabletop to offer goods from anymore, but it's an option.
4) We may even have yet another option, I'm not sure about it now, but if possible it'd leave you with both a table and some space next to it to set up a rack, but the catch is you wouldn't have very much set-up time (like 10 min) and would likely have to finish getting ready after we open.
If you want to know more about options 3 or 4 please email me.

Will printing out photos and taping them onto the clothing on the rack be accepted? Also may I ask how much space will be behind the table? I don't want to bring a rack that's too large that may go into someone else's space. I really appreciate you taking time to answer all my newbie questions :]

How big are the tables and are chairs provided? These are the first two answers from the sellers FAQBut just to be clear: The tables are six feet long by two feet wide (6' x 2') and each table has 2 chairs.

I have a question,
My group is planning our food/meals for the duration of Nominoichi.
However my understanding of the AN's covid policy, (which you also linked) is that we are not allowed to remove our masks to eat in the Toronto Congress Center buildings, only for drinking.
However in your post here (near the bottom) it says we are allowed to bring food to eat.
May I get clarification on whether we are indeed allowed to eat food in the building/nominoichi hall.
Thank you in advance

Did I screw up my application for a table?
I can't find any other email from nomi(at)mikemike.net other than the one saying my account has been successfully created.
I'm sure I clicked on the activate link and filled in the application.
This would have been on Monday, May 23 around 1am. (So, late Sunday night)
I did not get an acknowledgement or table ID... at least that I can find.
I will understand if I just screwed up the application process -- but I don't want to end up where I did get a table and then didn't show up to the event.

Thank you! I followed your advice and emailed Chris and I do have a table! Not sure why I didn't get an acknowledgement back for my application -- BUT hugely happy to have a table. - Carolyn

May I get clarification on whether we are indeed allowed to eat food in the building/nominoichi hall. Yeah, sorry about that. The Nominoichi rules are largely carried over from earlier years. That part would be in error with this years new policies, and I'll edit it out. This year, under Anime North 2022 COVID-19 Policies we are no longer allowed to eat inside the TCC building. Drinking is still OK, but eating is not allowed. However, sellers will get Nominoichi ribbons, and these will allow them to enter and exit both before and after the event is 'open', and you can eat food outside, provided you are not in the line-up area. Therefore, I suppose you could bring something to eat, and as long as you exit the building, you can have it. I know this is not an ideal solution, but it's something we'll have to deal with this year.

We are still working on it right now, there are just a few minor tweaks to be sorted.
I am hopeful that we can get it ready by next weekend.
As soon as I have one I'll post it here.

Hello,
My friend and I had both signed up for tables and have decided to just share a table. We would like to release table 38 - N233 for the next avalible applicant.
If you need to know we will be sharing table 33 - N231 and are already registered as split sellers.
Thanks!
