The Friday hours for Anime North is from 6 PM - 2 AM. I'm assuming that most of us will be at Nominoichi from 5 PM - 10:30 PM so by the time Nominoichi ends, it'll be too dark to take pictures. This is my first convention so I'm a bit unsure of what to expect. Do buyers frequently take pictures of sellers and their merchandise?
Will you be cosplaying on Friday or not? Is your cosplay simple to elaborate (really heavy or have to carry a prop)?

If seller went in cosplay that would be an awesome way to identify a table. However I have the sinking feeling that it's too difficult to juggle both a cosplay and getting set up at nomi.

I am going to be dressed in Pikachu Kigurumi with my Cure Sunshine pigtails in. If it is a painfully hot day you'll be meeting shop keeper Cammy. But yeah, Most likely gonna be there as Pikachu.

My plan is to cosplay while I sell, but the cosplay I will be wearing is a simple one (Luka Megurine from her Just Be Friends video) so I'm not too concerned about it getting in the way, especially since I will be arriving to the con already in costume. As for taking pictures of sellers, since it's my first time selling at Nomi I can't really say what the etiquette is, but my best guess is that it's likely similar to that of the dealers room and comic market, which is essentially avoid blocking the way and don't take pictures of merchandise without permission. I'm personally not very worried about getting my picture taken Friday since I'll be wearing the costume on Sunday as well.
Salis, I am just realizing that your signature says you'll be Slenderman on Friday. If you see a seller in a long pink wig and a white sundress ducking behind her table at the sight of you, that would be me; I'm kind of terrified of Slenderman ;w;

I'll be cosplaying as Yoh on Friday - though I probably won't be bringing my sword with me. It's not really a bulky costume though. I figure it will make it easier for people to find my table.
As for buyers taking pictures...I have no idea. This year is my first time selling at the Nominoichi ^^.

I'll be cosplaying as Kenshin both because of the simple outfit and the useful sleeves for the kimono. I've seen a lot of sellers cosplay before and sure, people ask them to stand up for pictures.

I MIGHT cosplay, depending on how transportation goes. I get the feeling I'll probably just end up wearing a nerdy shirt and a blue wig, or just an older cosplay of mine (maybe episode 26 Eureka from E7 that I made and wore for last year's AN *shrugs*). Nomi's apparently pretty hot though, right? Which is why I may not cosplay and just end up wearing a wig and nerdy shirt.

It's hard to say from the sounds of it there will be clouds but the forecasted temp keeps fluctuating day to day.

The nomi is indoors so the outside temp doesn't matter much but yes, it gets very hot! I've been all 3 years now and there wasn't a single time I wasn't sweating by the end. The sheer number of people crammed inside the area makes it pretty unbearable for anyone in full cosplay after a while. Its probably a bit easier for the vendors because they dont have to move around too much.
