I thought what I'd do was I'd take another look at this massive sale thread... seems the drama and craziness keeps continuing to escalate! :S
Think this is a perfect example of why I avoided having any reserves at my table, simply because I love the bartering and haggling process and it might get too busy and/or hectic in the form of a forum posting. I love the face-to-face interaction and would hate to bypass it through text! If you want my goods for cheap, you must sell yourself before I'll sell my goods <3 lol

hey seph dont be so down you can always get a solar powerd fan so you wont need to worry about batteries but you will need to worry about the sun *pretends to sulk* You know, my friend actually had a hat like that. The first time I saw it it had me laughing in stitches. It was this baseball cap with a fan coming down the side. Then he told me it's solar powered. XD Or perhaps you can go buy a solar powered flash-light. No batteries needed! It amuses me so much that those things actually exist. XD

But I don't think it's appropriate to knock other sellers and buyers for using these tools. Some items haven't typically sold well at the Nominoichi due to lack of vertical display options. The forum has proven to be an exceptionally effective tool for surmounting that challenge. Sure things can get a bit frenzied. But I am quite happy with the experience overall. @everyone: Please lets try to keep things civil here. Debate is okay, but let's not lose our heads over a few bucks. I think you're all great folks. You've just gotten a bit passionate. Regarding the fan, I am accepting Stu728's offer (first post offering $3.) Thanks everyone. I will update the reserves when I get home.

My apologies for not updating sooner. I was so completely dead after work this morning that I fell asleep in my computer chair trying to get the update done! Ok, so here goes: aideed: Yup, I got your offer of $30 for that list of stuff and I've accepted it. Wallscrolls 6,12,25 (all avg), Large Castle Fantasia Poster, and sake service have been added to your reserves. stu728: Thank you. I've added the Cowboy Bebop - Spike Spiegel, Faye Valentine & Swordfish (plus Ein) figure, the Japanese Cut Glass - His & Hers Cup Gift Set and the Personal Cooling Fan (accepted offer of $3, Thanks.) to your reserves. topocct: Got your request via PM. Offer accepted. I've added the Macross VHS bundle and the Initial D - Kenta's Nissan Silvia S14 model to the reserves. You can pick up your reserved items at Table N26 up to 8:30pm. Thanks. zeekayart: I received your PM, unfortunately yours was not the first offer on the Initial D model. shunsukekun: Unfortunately your was not the first offer on the sake service. chaos21: unfortunately yours was not the first offer on the cut glass set.

Hi Aideed, looking at your reserves, the majority of your stuff is flat. So a box is probably not the best. I can bag most of your small items together. All of the laminates and posters for sale will be brought together flat in a single flat protective package. I will bring elastics should you wish to roll them when you pick them up. But I have never rolled the laminates or most of the posters myself - I kept them stored flat in a large artist's portfolio case. (The damaged airplane prints you are collecting we're damaged while rolled. After that happened years ago, I was never big on rolling things up.)The wallscrolls will also be brought in a collective package. They will be grouped with elastics and have tags with the reserve name. I'm off Wednesday and Thursday. My main goal is getting everything divided up, packed and labelled. But I'll do my best not to make things unmanageable. The request for a photo is reasonable and not a bad idea. But I may not be able to provide that until late Thursday or Early Friday. If anyone else has packaging or carrying concerns, please contact me. raiemu: Your reserves I was definitely planning to pack in a box due to the keyboard and several other items you reserved. It seems to be the most efficient solution for transporting into the Nominoichi space. But please let me know if its going to cause difficulties for you. General Info: For everyone, I will have an assortment of plastic shopping bags. But if you have anything more sturdy like reusable grocery store bags, you may want to bring them along as they may be better for you to carry.Cheers! kuma133

Thanks for the info and its great that u dont roll ur posters I personally hate it when people do that because it sometimes ddestroys the poster And its great that your taking the time to organize everything so that it will be easier to pick up reserves And dont worry if the wall scrolls arent that popular in the forms they definatly will be at nomi and one suggestion I would giv u is to show a picture of the scroll to potential buyers instead of opening them up due to lack of space and possible damage and also if a person is really intreasted in buying it they will do it by looking at the picture take us for an example thats what we are doing buying stuff based on pics and are taking the sellers word for it

On another note, I am going to have to remove some of the URL links that I placed in my original post. I will move them to a new post in this thread. I have no choice because I've nearly reach the 60,000 character post limit! The URL strings for some sites are quite long, so removing them from the top post should buy back a lot of characters for keeping track of additional reserves. Thanks for your understanding. Again, I do plan to re-post the URLs so the info will not be lost to you.

Time permitting I will open and photograph the scrolls that have not been reserved yet to facilitate this idea. I find the reason people want to open scrolls (which is quite a valid one) is simply that the paper tag and cloth are very different print mediums - you really want to see what the cloth product looks like. The hard part will be making sure that my photos accurately represent the cloth images. I am planning on having the ability to display at least 1 scroll or art work at the table. I have an adjustable easel that I hope to place on the table.
