Hi all,
I participated in the Nominoichi last year. I made a good time while making a few hundred dollars!
My advice to this year's sellers: - Pick up your pre-reg Thursday night. Friday line-ups have been hours long in the past. - If you have a lot of merchandise, plan how you are going to arrange it at home. Mark prices, cut down boxes to display stuff in, etc. ahead of time. - Bring a water bottle. You'll be trapped behind your table for 3~4 hours. - Bring some grocery bags to give to customers if they need it to carry all the stuff they've bought. - Most importantly, have fun, and good luck!

What time would you recommend that one get there if they cannot get to Pre-Reg on Thursday?

I would ask that sellers would please have some change on hand! Avoiding change and bringing a huge stack of $5 and $10 bills, just for the occasion And its very true about offering bags! I'm bringing some for customers who buy larger items from me too. Nothing worse than buying a fragile or collectible item and letting it get banged around.

What time would you recommend that one get there if they cannot get to Pre-Reg on Thursday? As cliche as this sounds, as early as possible. Last year's pre-reg line on Friday took 2-3 hours because it's all pre-reg. No door tickets. By the time we finally got the con badges, it was a frantic rush to get to the Nomi on time. They said they'll be better this year, but it's better to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

To add onto 8-bit's suggestions is to bring yourself a sandwich or have an early dinner. Not just water, but you're going to be stuck there for 4-5 hours (depending on when you start set up) and it'll be way past dinner time by the time you get out of there. Most of the restaurants in the area close around 11ish 12ish, so it might be very difficult to find food afterwards unless you're willing to drive or have someone get you take out.
Bring change, but you likely won't need a lot. It's mainly for the first few customers, because after you sell a few things, you will discover that you have a LOT of change to spare. XD
Bags though, yes, definitely bags. And elastics too if you have posters.

No table this year, but three years experience.
If you have a very large inventory, it really helps to have a list available of everything that you're selling, and cross things off (or erase them) as they get sold.
If you're going to be the only one going to Nominoichi (meaning, you're not in a group), go to the bathroom BEFORE Nominoichi, not after. Remember, once you're in and set up, you're pretty much stuck there for a few hours.
Suitcases are a great solution if you're carrying around a small to medium load of stuff. I always pack a "Nominoichi suitcase". Keeps the stuff I'm selling easy to organize, not to mention, it's far easier on you than carrying a bunch of boxes.

I've been a seller for the past few years now, and here are a few things that I've done:
Same with shance, I have a list of everything that I'm selling. I sell things for multiple people, so I colour-code the price tags and take them off as people buy them and keep them in a folder. I also highlight the things that get sold with that person's colour. It makes it a whole lot easier in the end when you're splitting up the money.
This might also be a given, but make friends and talk to your neighbours! A couple times in the years that I've been selling, the people I'm next to helped sell some of my stuff and vice versa.

If you're going to be the only one going to Nominoichi (meaning, you're not in a group), go to the bathroom BEFORE Nominoichi, not after. It's either that or master the potent art of Jarate (the jar based karate).
