Have the people who run this event considered posting a floor plan/map of the area? It would make things quicker for those of us who get stuff held by sellers, and allow us to plan things out a bit more, i.e. I'm not into video games, so if a table has nothing but video games, I'll know to pass that table by. Just a thought.
If it's available somewhere but I just haven't found/noticed it yet, please excuse me.

No maps are made for Nominoichi because the floor plan is subject to change based on what happens at the con. An incorrect map is far worse than no map at all.

We are not planning to release a map because, as has been the case before, there may be an alteration between what was planned and what actually happens. In this case having no map is better than an incorrect one. However, if things are problem free this year, and we are in the same location with have the same layout next year (and that hasn't even been discussed yet!), I would reconsider the 'no-maps' rule in the future.
This year there will be two staff tables (N194 and N195) located at the end of the aisle closest to the door, if you would like any help locating a table at the Nominoichi please ask us.
Also, at the Nominoichi there will be 120 selling tables and an additional 30 Fashion swap tables. However, we do not further sub-classify the tables by type. There is no specific area of the Nominoichi for Video games, or figures, etc., While the Fashion Swap tables have their own rules and are located in one section, the Nominoichi tables are all bound by the same rules are quite diverse from one table to the next.

Once the date of Nomi gets closer, can we at least have a general grouping of which tables are on each island, like what you did last year? Hopefully it works out, good luck and thanks!

Yes, I'm well aware that classifying tables by whatever stuff people are selling would be a logistical nightmare, given how almost everybody is selling more than one type of thing. That's why I'm not asking for that. I'm just saying that, if there was a map/floor plan available, we could print out a copy, read the posts on this forum and take note of where a seller's table is, where our reserved items are, and, if somebody's only selling stuff you're not interested in buying, you can cross their table off of your printout. When you get to the Nomi, you can whip out your marked-up map/plan and move through it a little more efficiently than you would without it.

Last year I tried to make a map out of this general premise and if I recall some tables were still shifted around. Suffice to say I got myself confused and failed to reach some of the sellers in time to get my holds.

I think this is one of those things that appears simple in theory, but in fact there's a lot of variables to consider - known or unknown - that make it much more complicated. The most I can really suggest is to make sure you write the table numbers down and check with the seller about any distinctive feature their table or they themselves will have (like a sign or their cosplay).
Also, the Nominoichi is technically like a flea market or garage sale; part of the fun is browsing through everything!
(Not that I would know because I couldn't really leave my table at all last year but that's not my point.)

As Chris said there are staff tables who will likely have a better grasp of the layout than any map we could make right now.
