Hey folks!
Last year there were a bunch of us that ran a panel on how to start your own podcast! I was thinking of running it again this year. Right now, we have at least two podcasts interested!
Would folks be interested in this, as panelists or in attending?
Things we would likely cover broadly:
- Concept - Recording - Editing - Hosting - Promotion

I had a good time, and the audience seemed to enjoy it too! I was thinking that maybe this year it would be good to have a presentation instead of a panel? That way, if anyone wants to start a podcast (the point of the panel) and wasn't taking notes / couldn't make it, we could just send them the slides!

I'm actually starting on right now and would love to be on this panel. It will be up and running well before the con and I'll be bringing a fresh perspective and a lot of notes on being.
We could probably just get them to go somewhere and get the panel footnotes. I don't think that there's anything that I'd wanna go into deep enough with the this panel to warrant a presentation. Just my two cents lol.

For those interested, here is what I registered the panel as:
Title: Podcasting 101 Format: Panel Category: Meta Description: How do you take an idea and make it a podcast? We'll talk about recording, hosting, and promoting your own podcast!
