So for the (fifth? wow time flies) year in a row we should do a panel on the subject of transphobia and homophobia. This panel has been highly successful in the past, with both panelists and the audience getting into good discussions about the representation both good and bad of queer people in anime; as well as how conventions handle their attendees.
If you're interested in participating in this panel or have suggestions for the topics to be discussed, please reply to this thread!

This has always been such an informative panel. I always look forward to it.

We used to have separate panels but discuss issues at conventions. Is 50 minutes enough time to cover both topics in media and at conventions, and is it necessary to discuss conventions when there are other panel suggestions for etiquette and cosplay is not consent?

I'm going to get clarification about whether this topic should be split into separate phobia in anime and phobia in fandom panels.
