I sincerely hope I don't come across as impatient because this comes more from a place of paranoia and/or a little anxiety lol.
I followed the process, got the email from fingers, etc. I'd like to know if from now on it's just a waiting game or is there something I should be doing?

Chances are there aren't enough applications for your panel idea. I'll try and get more details.

Does that means we should know by now if they've been confirmed? Bacause I was wondering the same. Thanks in advance.

Any word on when the approvals will occur? I'm also waiting for a panel confirmation (Made in Abyss). What's the hard minimum for number of applicants?

Looking back in my emails, the earliest I've gotten approval emails for panels is the end of March, while others have been sent as late as late April/early May (though that's probably been for later panel registrations). Be patient everyone! There will still be plenty of time to prepare for your panels if they're approved

I for one am definitely going to the light novels panel if it all works out. I don't think you have to worry about not getting approved

Just to be clear, is there a formal application process for being on someone else's panel?

Just to be clear, is there a formal application process for being on someone else's panel? Just the registration form at anpanels.com. Use the exact same panel name when filling out the form though!

Anime North is fast approaching, so is there any update on when panels are getting confirmed? I submitted a couple of presentations, but don't wanna spend time working on them only for my proposals to get rejected. I also don't want to find out last minute that their approved and rush to edit and complete them either.
I'm fine either way if my panels get rejected or approved, but I would just like to know where I stand at this point. Thanks!
