I remember there being a rule that disallowed large props from being in the Artist's Alley/Dealer's Room due to the congestion. So I was wondering if Anime North had any locker/prop daycare kinda thing in the Artist's Alley/Dealer's Room. Where people can drop off their large prop before browsing and can come back to it without worry that it will be stolen. Running back to the hotel is inconvenient and don't always have buddies around who can hold onto it ...
Also is it a rule for large props to not be allowed in the congested show rooms or was that just a courtesy thing? I can't seem to find it...

I think it's either a newer rule or a "don't be rude" courtesy thing - but not sure how well its enforced, if at all. I'd imagine the staff at the doors would hold it for you. On the day i want to go to the AA/DR i just don't carry props, its silly to have something in your hands while shopping.

I believe the rule that they were enforcing a year or two back for the AA/DR was no photo ops because of the congestion. Other than that it's just a "hold it in a way that it won't hit people or stuff" rule that they explain to you at the weapon check tables
