I used Yahoo email when i sent mine. Chris had said he did not receive the email. They had received them from me from 3 different years in the past but not this year. I thought it strange as well. My time stamp was 8:01pm

So far 10 people have come forward and said that an email was sent in on time, but there is no record of it at our end. They include:
3 @rogers.com 3 @yahoo.ca 3 @yahoo.com 1 @ymail.com
However, in 9 of the 10 cases a second email was sent in asking what happened to the first from the same address, and we received that second email. So clearly the system is working again, it just seems to have failed on the 8th.
It is also worth noting that this year none of the table requests we received on the 8th came from an @yahoo or @rogers address. Therefore, while not conclusive evidence, it does support a theory that the problem may originate with an issue at the @yahoo and @rogers mail servers on the 8th.
Although I wish to stress that we are still working on this and no conclusions have been reached yet.

I used my Yahoo mail too and it never got through on the 8th. I used the same address last year and that was the address I purchased my ticket with. Hopefully this won't happen next year.

And thanks for looking into this strange situation
