Just an inquiry! Gay Sex 101 and Lesbian Sex 101 are always popular - are panels like Ask an Asexual or Polyamory 101 still considered acceptable to run? I’ve moderated these panels in the past and they were well attended.

I'm not sure, but I would be super interested in attending something like this!

I’ve registered them on Anpanels.com, for interested panelists!
Ask an Asexual What’s the difference between aro and ace? What’s demisexuality? We fill in all the grey areas!
Polyamory Are you looking to date multiple partners, or curious about polyamory? We answer your questions!

So, here's the status on lifestyle panels:
They're available for sign-up on ANPanels.com and will be left open until the deadline.
Yaoi/yuri-centric panels will close first along with other panels and events more in line with Anime North's theme. For example a panel about polyamory in harem anime is more likely to get approved than a general polyamory panel.
If there's room left in the schedule, I'll be picking up lifestyle panels. Which panels gets picked up will depend on how closely they align with yaoi/yuri/LGBTQ fandom. Who gets to be on those panels will rely heavily on the Justification section of panel signup and, in the case of equal experience/qualifications, who signed up first.
This is nothing against any specific lifestyles. We appreciate all walks of life and enjoy sharing this kind of content with our attendees but we have to prioritize anime and yaoi/yuri content, as that is the focus of the convention.
If you have already submitted a lifestyle panel and have ideas for modifying it to be yaoi/yuri/anime-focused, PM me and I can make changes to the submission.
