This panel was not approved last year, but it was the year beforehand.
As I've grown older, I've found that I've slowly been drifting away from the community. Not as many anime interest me. Most of my friends don't watch anime or go to conventions anymore. I'm also started to get tired of traditional fan conventions. I'm getting tired of social media. I don't make as much time to watch anime anymore, and I'm not always up for subs, even though I'm not a fan of dubs.
However, I can still get excited about anime. Sometimes I'll binge watch an anime instead of watching it weekly. I have a small group of friends that watches dubs, and if the voice acting too horrible, I will join. I'll sometimes watch anime on my phone when on the subway. Sometimes I want to rewatch an anime and try to watch the dub, so I don't need to turn away every time I need to get up or do chores.
Would anyone else be interested in talking about keeping anime in your life, whether you're returning to anime, are finding ways to keep on top of the anime you want to watch, or are struggling but would like to share some motivation and tips?

I would definitely be interested in doing a panel on this topic. I also sometimes feel like anime is not as prominent in my life as it once was but every now and then get excited to watch new things and get really excited about it.

Oh I was just thinking about doing a similar panel the other day, I'd love to join in on this! Especially with how impactful anime was while growing up and how as an adult it's still important, but I've moved away from it only because of time. But it's still in my life, but less obsessive lol

If there is space, i would be interested in joining this panel. At one point i found myself having an anime club dropped on my lap and i was surrounded by countless individuals all throwing their suggestions and input on me daily. Now i’m in my 30s and after all my experiences - like living in Japan - i find myself rather... short on daily anime injections. I used to feel swamped with it all, now i have to actively go out and find my own anime and interests.

Four people have already applied, but more people can keep applying until the panel is rejected or closed, so feel free to apply. We are supposed to sell ourselves through our applications anyway
