A panel to discuss cheep options for people to use for making costumes, like sources of fabric, ways to make props and costume components that look the part etc.
Last year we had a great turn out at this panel and we had some great panelists. We had some physical prop references that could be brought in to show people just how realistic things can look even when made out of less expensive materials

Added an application to this panel! I've been on it a couple times in the past, and my actual cosplay plans this year include: - An outfit made almost entirely out of material and patterns already in my stash (most expensive item here will probably be shoes);
- An outfit made out of bedsheets and a hoop skirt that a family friend wanted to get rid of (the most expensive thing in this outfit will be the trim); and
- An outfit where I literally paid $3/m for the fabric (wig is the most expensive, and that's including the shoes that I plan to incorporate into my more regular wardrobe)
So I definitely have a few tips and tricks to share.

So I definitely have a few tips and tricks to share. That sounds perfect! My specialty is props so I've got most of that covered. I still have the examples from last year that are made from recycled parts or cost less than $10 for components and hopefully a couple more examples to go with them along with some costume pieces also made from recycled bits
