The 2021 Panels application are open as of Friday, March 26th, and remain open until May 1st.
Please visit anpanels.com on Friday to sign up for an account and create a Panel application.
There will be THREE major formats:
1. Pre-Recorded Panels - These are the majority of content. We're going to ask you to pre-record your panel and submit it to us via Dropbox or Google Drive. We're asking for a minimum of 1080p in MPEG format. If you want to add niceities like hard-coded subtitles and overlays, that's up to you. Remember that we will be screening these, so please make sure to edit out any rampant profanity and such, as the case may be.
2. Live Roundtables - These are where we have a panel of established panelists talking with one another in a live setting. We can't open this to newcomers unfortunately, as we want to make sure people have experience and know how to conduct themselves on a panel. But if you've worked with Panels before and know the gig, pitch it to us and we'll see what can be done. Please note that this is where having other panelists already informed and ready to speak on a subject with you is highly desired.
3. Live Workshops - These are what the name implies. You'll be doing a live demo of something practical like building a costume or hobby piece.
If you're unsure about format/needs, ask me directly. If you're sure your content falls outside these categories such as musical performances, you'll likely want to contact Chris Nebelsky: cnebelsky@animenorth.com
All intake will be handled via anpanels.com/, so if you don't already have an account, please sign up for one.
Join the Panels Discord to find co-panelists and discuss topic ideas: discord.gg/f9Km6Mk
