I received a strange email last night stating my email was not sent. It was strange, I received this email almost 3 hours after sending my Nominoichi one and it was very ill formatted and almost gibberish.
I know a couple people have received similar emails. Have anyone else? I've emailed the Nominoichi team about it and now am making a thread as well, on the off chance that my email is returned again. Any help would be appreciated.
I received the same email... thought it was on my end at first, but given it was an error I'd never seen, and that it happened to you guys as well... D: I've emailed the nomi address as well about it, hopefully someone can clear it up.
I just received another gibberish error email. I'm assuming it's from my last email to the Nomi Team asking whats going on. This new email clearly states near the end that the domain I was sending to is animenorth.com and that the address firstname.lastname@example.org had recognized the email but could not be delivered.
What email client are you guys using? I'm using an Icloud account. From what this email states (poorly) it could be client we're using. My email keeps bringing up my personal email domain...
I sent it from yahoo. I actually had to send it three times cus the first two wouldnt go through no matter what. Finally got it in the third try with a sent confirmation but yeah around an hr or so after that i got a mailer daemon
Edit: i checked again and my error email didnt have anything on it, gibberisg or otherwise, just an empty attachment
I use a private server. I just checked with the postmaster, and it's not a problem with our server as it is sending and receiving other messages just fine. The followup email I sent this morning to the Nomi address also bounced, as I just received yet another "Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender" message. I might have chalked it up to the address being overwhelmed with the volume of applications sent at 8pm yesterday, but that would not explain why it is still bouncing today. tldr; it's a Nomi error, not anything we did
Same here. I sent it to the correct address from my Gmail account. I only received the bounce back 3 hours later (applied today at 10AM). I'll also send an email to the main AN address to have them follow up.
Mine went through fine, but my friend was sending hers from an iCloud email and it was rejected. When I tried emailing email@example.com to ask about it and sent her details, it rejected my email two or three times until I eliminated her email address from my message. I think it's being marked as spam.

After some more investigation, it seems to be that the Nomi address is a proxy, and is forwarding to two other addresses, and that the error is arising out of broken communication between them (this explains why the bounce messages were coming in ~3 hours later, since they weren't going straight to the recipients). Have sent messages to the two people to whom the address is forwarding, along with the gibberish bounce message. Have also sent a message to Chris here on the forums. Hopefully something will come of this.
