After some more investigation, it seems to be that the Nomi address is a proxy, and is forwarding to two other addresses, and that the error is arising out of broken communication between them (this explains why the bounce messages were coming in ~3 hours later, since they weren't going straight to the recipients). Have sent messages to the two people to whom the address is forwarding, along with the gibberish bounce message. Have also sent a message to Chris here on the forums. Hopefully something will come of this. Thank you for the information! I hope that this gets resolved - I have done the Nomi since it's first year and I don't want to miss out!

According to skyhall in another thread, all of the tables sold out, so I can only assume that some peoples' applications did make it through.

Just sent mine again; here's hoping it works. While I'm not really relying on the Nomi to pay for AN or anything else, I've got stuff I want to sell and it's the simplest and most convenient way to do so. The only other con I go to that has something like this is Otakuthon, but that'd mean lugging an extra suitcase and the way theirs works is that they sell your stuff for you and take a percentage from what they sell, which I don't really trust or like.

I sent my email at 8:15 and did not get the rejection e-mail, so I'm assuming that mine went through. I hope I get a table, and that it works out for everybody else.

This happened to me as well. I sent a follow-up email the next day and it bounced back again with a delay.

Well I sent one out again and I didn't get the error so hopes it went through and that everything is fixed. Though not sure because there has been no announcement
